At the Borough Council meeting on Wednesday, August 18, it was decided, on the motion of C. J. Vedder, that a deputation consisting of the Mayor, Mr J. E. Storyn and Cr J. D. Swan, Deputy-Mayor, go to Wellington in connection with the proposed development of the Domain sports ground. This action follwed a suggestion made by Cr K. E.
