Foreman's Holiday Leave.
Mr G. W. Amer, in a letter read at the Council meeting held on August 4, stated that he had been paid for two weeks holiday leave, but that he was entitled to three weeks holiday pay. It was pointed out that Mr Amer when employed as foreman was a salaried officer, and that the advertised conditions of employment had provided for a fortnight's annual holiday. It was decided to refer the matter to the Labour Department for a ruling.
