MAJESTIC THEATRE

A star cast romps and sings through the top-flight Technicolor musical, "Two Tickets To Broadway" showing on Saturday at evening and matinee performances at the Majestic Theatre, a laugh-lad-en story of five young hopefuls

trying to hit the bright lights of Broadway. "The Woman With No Name," to be seen on Monday, tells the exciting story of a woman who loses her memory in an air-raid. P'hyllis Calvert in the leading part, gives a memorable performance, with new star in Edward Underdown. On Wednesday "Trent's Last Case," a brilliant mystery film adapted from E. C. Bentley's book of the same name will be screened. In this film two outstanding stars appear together for the first time, Margaret Lockwood and Michael Wilding. On Thursday, August 19, #t both 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., there is another Royal Tour film, "Welcome The Queen," which brings together all the highlights of Her Majesty's triumphant Commonwealth tour. Screening on the same; programme is "Kangaroo," a western type film set in the heart of the Australian bush, with a strong cast, headed by Maureen O'Hara and Peter Lawford. On Friday, August 20, the double programme features a short of the last heavyweight title fight between Rocky Marciano and Ezzard Charles. j With it will be seen a drama of the U.S. Army Medical Corps, "Batle Circus," in which Humphrey Bogart and June Allyson play for the first time opposite one . another.
