BUY TAUPO PROPERTY NOW The Prime Minister's confirmation that HEAVY WATER will be produced at Wairakei merely confirms Kent's prediction that this project would go ahead. The delay was simply caused by arguments about who would foot the bill. THAT'S WHERE TAUPO COMES INTO IT There'll be a lot of money spent on HEAVY WATER and GEOTHERMAL STEAM projects, maybe even a MILLION POUNDS at the site before it is finished, and after that maybe £50,000 a year in wages, etc. Most of this money will be spent in Taupo.
