Tokoroa's Population, 5000.
The Department of Census and Statistics estimates that by 1960 Tokoroa will have a population of 10,000. The following figures based on Government records, give an idea of the growth of Tokoroa to date:— 1948, 140; 1949, 250; 1950, 900; 1951, 1700; 1952, 2600; 1953, 4100; 1954, 5000.
