MAJESTIC THEATRE
As befits its name, "Saturday Island" is the Saturday picttire at the Majestic this week-end. This Technicolor film concerning the savage emotions aroused when two men and one woman are marooned on a tropical island. Glamourous Linda Darnell is in the leading role with Donald Grey and Tab Hunter as suitors. Bob Hope provides a laugh riot in Mohday's picture "My Favourite Spy," when, as secret agent he trails the spy, Hedy Lamarr, from Broadway to Araby. On Wednesday "Week-end with Father" stars Van Hefiin and Patricia Neal. The week end meant for two becomes a riot for eight including both her kids and his kids, much to the bewilderment of the hotel clerk. "Gunsmoke," a Technicolor Western, is the film on Friday next, July 23, in
which the deadliest guns of the West are ranged against the law. Audie Murphy, Susan Cabot and Paul Kelly are in the starring roles. Patrons will be treated to a classic of the screen on Saturday week July 24, when the witty Oscar Wilde comedy "The Importance of Being Earnest" will be shown in Technicolor. The cast is a distinguished one, including Michael Redgrave, Joan Greenwood, Margaret Rutherford and Michael Denison.
