A Library Rate under section 6 of the Library and Mechanics Institute Act 1926 of id (one eighth pence) in the £. A Hospital Rate under section 52 of the Hospital and Charitable institutions Act 1926 of fd (five eighths pence) in the £. All the above Rates to be based on the Unimproved Value of all rateable property in the Borough of Taupo as appearing in the Valuation Roll and to be due and payable in one sum on the lst day of August, 1954, at the Borough Office, Taupo. A Rebate of 5 per cent will be allowed to every Ratepayer in respect of all rates paid withing thirty (30) days of the due date of demand and iurther notice is hereby given that the Estimates upon which the above mentioned rates are being struck have been approved by the Council and are together with the Valuation Roll open for inspection at the Town Clerk's Office, Wharf Road, Taupo, without fee, during office hours.
