MAJESTIC THEATRE
The Majestic Theatre has booked the famous musical, "Hans Christian Andersen" for Saturday, April 24, at both matinee and evening performances, and also for Monday evening. The top rate comic, Danny Kaye, is in the title role with a new and captivating feminine lead in Jeanmaire, dubbed "the firecracker in tights," and Farley Granger, tall, dark and handsome, oas major support. In Tuesday's picture, "A Girl in White," June Allyson takes the part of a woman doctor forced to choose between career and love. "The Marrying Kind," showing on Wednesday next, is a heart-warming and hilarious human story starring Judy Holliday. The double feature on Friday, April 30, includes "The Pace That Thrills," a motor-cycle love drama with a thrill-a-minute, and "The Torch," another thriller, concerned with a Mexican revolution.
