VISIBILITY AT STREET CORNERS

Initiating a discussion at the recent Borough Council meeting on visibility at street intersections in the borough, Cr K. E. Young instanced a number of crossings where the traffic danger was bad owing to the view being obscured. He suggested that clearing such corners with the bull-dozer would be the best and most effective method of improving the position, as was indicated by the improvement madei at a number of similar intersections when the method was tried by the Mayor. some time ago. It was agreed to adopt the suggestion.
