READING OF METERS
Cr. W. G, Morris enquired whether arr: ng-ements had been made for the meter re^der at next meter reading to leave the consumer's account at the cime he read the meter. The Mayor replied that this would not be possible at the nexG reading, which would be a big job, as all consumers' houses would require to be classified in connection with the standing charge rates. It was planned to introduce the practice later, however.
