"THE SEEKERS" AT ARATIATIA

Taken from the cliff-top on the eastern bank of the Waikato River at Aratiatia Rapids, nine miles from Taupo, our picture shows the portion of the Rapids where scenes were "shot" for the film version xof John Guthrie's novel "The Seekers." The rock overlooking the white water, on which the film unit party is seen, is the most downstream vantage point usually visited by those seeing the Rapids from the western or Wairakei side of the river.
