ERECTED IN LESS THAN WEEK
PREFAB. CLASSROOMS A prefabricated double unit class room building for the Taupo District High School has been erected on the school block by Messrs Wilson and Bockett, of Auckland. The builders arrived in Taupo on Thursday afternoon of last week, and at the time of going to press it appeared that the building would be completed on Wednesday night last Two similar buildings were erected in the previous fortnight by Messrs Wilson and Bockett, one at the ■ Glenholme School, Rotorua, and one at the Rotorua Primary School. The Taupo building cojnprises 1300 sq. feet, and contains two classrooms, a cloak-room and a store-room. Though constituting temporary accommodation only, the building is well lighted with ample windows, and ventilation is designed to be complete while avoiding draughts. The new classrooms will accommodate up to 70 pupils. The makers are Messrs. Ginn Bros, of Papatoetoe, who specialise in prefabricated buildings.
