Recent additions to business premises in Tongariro Street, Taupo, include the block of shops built for Taupo Properties Ltd., by Messrs. Atherfold Ltd., (top) opposite the Post Offtce, and the block built by Messrs. A. Coley and Son on the Paora-Hape Street corner for Mr J. E. Story, adjacent to the latter's previously erected building (lower). The first mentioned block is occupied by: — Mr J. A. Fenton, Watchmaker and Jeweller; Watson's Furnishers; Mr D. J. McCleary, Hairdresser and Tobacconist; Mr Bob Ying, Fruiterer; Mr I. T. Logan, Fishing Tackle and Repairs; Mr Gordon Fraser, Chemist; Alan McLean Ltd., Men's Wear; Mr E. T. Smith's Taupo Meat Supply. Story 's Buildings:— McDonald's Ltd., Self-service Grocery; Mr Maurice Tierney's Butchery; Mr Dick Fraser, Men's Outfitter; Mr Bob Ying, Fruit and Vegetables; Messrs Storey's, Books Stationery and Toys; Judd's Billiard Saloon.
