All younger children will be labelled with name and name of their school. Sports gear will be taken so that children may play while awaiting the Royal party's arrival. The Rotorua High School's radio system will be used to broadcast the Civic Reception at the Motutara Golf Course to the children waiting at the school. The Rotorua Parent-Teacher Association is arranging a canteen in the grounds for sale of light refreshments, but all children should take their lunches with them.
