PUBLIC^ NOTICE IS HEREBY; GIVEN under the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1947 that commencing on the 1st day of October 1953 and until further notice THE LIGHTING OF FIRES IS PROHIBITED in that portion of the Taupo County as described in the schedule hereunder, except with permission of:The Conservator of Forests, N.Z. Forest Service, Telephone 112 ROTORUA. SCHEDULE That area of Taupo County being within the Auckland Land District Cexcluding any area within a Rural Fire District) and situated to the e$st of a line from Whakaipo Bay, Lake Taupo at the mouth of the Mapara Stream thence along the lake shore in a northerly direction to an unformed road in Block II Tuhingamata East S.D. along the west side of that road to its junction with the Oruanui-Taupo Road: along the west side of that road in a north-westerly direction to its junction with the WaitoaTaupo Main Highway; along the northern edge oi that road to its intersection with the Public Health Reserve, Section 2 Block X Tatua S.D. : along the north-western boundary of this section to its intersection with the > Wairakei Stream, thence down the northern bank of the Wairakei Stream to the Waikato River, thence by the northern bank of the Waikato River to its intersection with the Tahorakuri Rural Fire District.
