JUDGMENT SUMMONS CASES
A number of Judgment summons cases were heard in the Magistrate's Court, Taupo, on Friday last before Mr W. A. Harlow, S.M. Speight, Pearce and Nichol v. R. G. Burnside, the debtor was ordered to pay £5/14/3 and solicitor's fee £1/1/- forthwith, in default 6 days imprisonment. Booth & Chapman v. F. Fox £54. Debtor ordered to pay £2 per week. E. T. Smith v. Said Habib, £19/7/11. Debtor ordered to pay forthwith, in default 21 days imprisonment. Casson & Co. v. Peter Heta, £34/8/6. Debtor ordered to pay forthwith in default 36 days imprisonment. H. G. Newberry v. H. Collins, £8/0/4 and £1/1/- solicitor's fee. Debtor ordered to pay 10/- per week in default 9 days imprisonment. C. J. McEwen v. George Makai, £13/10/4 and solicitor's fee £1/11/6. Debtor ordered to pay forthwith in default 15 days imprisonment.
