FORMER TAUPO RESIDENT Mr Victor Kennedy Simpson, licensee of the Jolly Farmer Inn, Drury, one of three men reported missing on a flight from Auckland to Rotorua last Sunday, was well known in Taupo where he formerly owned the Bungalow Private Hotel. It was reported on Monday that a searching plane had sighted wreckage some thirty miles from Rotorua in forest country four miles from the Mamaku highway. A search party on Tuesday reached the scene and found the bodies of the three men.
