MAJESTIC THEATRE
Until further notice the Majestic Theatre's screenings will be on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday in each week. Tomorrow Saturday 5th, at both matinee and. evening shows the big picture is to be "Here Comes the Groom," starring Bing Crosby and Jane Wyman, a gay comedy of charm and melody. On Wednesday, 9th, Edmond O'Brien and Gale Storm star in "Midnight and Dawn," a j thriller dramatising the adventures of the poiice radio. patrol, highilghted by a blazing gun battle. Ray Milland and Jan Sterling play the leads on Thursday, 10th, in "Rhubarb," an hilarious improbable comedy of an alley cat that inherits a fortune. The double feature programme for Friday, 11th, has Johnny Weismuller and Sherry Moreland in "Fury of the Congo," plus the baffling suspense drama "The Scarf," starring John Ireland and Mercedes McCambridge, a duo of first rate melodramas. For Saturday next at both matinee and 8 p.m. the picture. will be 'An American in Paris' a Technicolor musical to George Gershwin's music, starring Gene Keily, Leslie Caron and Oscar Levant, the latter the most accomplished interpreter of Gershwin's music.
