FIRE BRIGADE BALL

ANNUAL FUNCTION Many dancers gathered at Rickit's Hall on Saturday, August 21st, for the annual ball of the Taupo Volunteer Fire Brigade. Messrs R. Douglas and J. O'Toole were masters of ceremonies, and Tom Isaac's orchestra provided the music. The hall was gay with greenery and streamers, particular attention having been paid to the ceiling which was decorated with multicoloured streamers surrounding a mass of balloons which were released for the balloon dance. The Brigade members wore their trim new uniforms. The lavish supper was another feather in the cap of Mrs T. Isaacs, who had gone to great trouble to provide a very tasty buffet supper served in most attractive manner. Among those present were Mrs S.
