CRUSADERS ANNIVERSARY

MARCHING GIRLS' BALL The Crusaders Marching Girls Club held their anniversary ball on Saturday evening, August 1, at Rickit's Hall. Taupo, which was gaily decorated with greenery and balloons and the Club's colours featured in black and white streamers. Mr C. B. Uent officiated as master ot ceremonies and sang two solos. Music was provided by Mrs Mika's orchestra. Following an enjoyable sit-down supper, Mr J. E. Story, president of the Taupo Marching Girls' Association, cut the Club's birthday cake, eongratulating the Club on its suecessful year, and thanking the public for their support of club functions.
