Taupo Women's Institute

The monthly meeting of the Taupo Women's 'Institute, held in Rickit's Hall last Wednesday, July 15th., was well attended. For the Roll Call. many suggestions, some painful and some soothing, were made for the removal of a splinter. Afterr an enjoyable afternoon tea Mrs Turton conducted a Quiz Session, wrhich was much appreciated* Competition winners were Mrs Stowe* Tea Cozy ;

Mrs Arnold, Date Loaf; Mrrs Arnold, Best Bloom; Miss McClymont, Best Cluster. Members stood in silence for a few moments as an expression of sympathy for Mr and Mrs J. «T. Taylor and family in their recent bereave* ment by the death of Mr Sam Taylor.
