MAJESTIC THEATRE

Tonight, Wednesday 15th., th,e Majestic will show a big-calibre romantic Western, "The Half-B;reed," starring Robert Young, Janis Carter and Jack Buetel. The double feature programme for Friday 17th. has "The Countea-punch," with Leon Errol, Joe Kirkwood and Elyse Knox, and "The House Across the Street," with Wayne Morris and Janis Paige, both with that touch of romance, melodrama and excitement that make for a gooa value double-star entertainment. Musical comedy in the form of the famous "Lullaby of Broadway" js the main picture on Saturday 18th., at both matinee and evening screenings. This Technicolor musical combines gay comedy, tu.neful songs, graceful dancing and a galaxy of star performers in a good story. Leads are Doris Day, Gene Nelson, Billy de Wolfe and Gladys George. "The Slaughter Trail," on Monday 20th., is a Cinecolor drama of an Indian uprising in New Mexico plus banditry, romance and stage-coach hold - ups, starring Bffian Donlevy, Gig Young and Virginia Grey. On Wednesday 22nd., "Reunion in Reno" features young Gigi Perreau in the hilarious role of a young girl who goes to Reno to divorce heir parents. Lovely Pe&&y Dow is the feminine lead and Mark Stevens her opposite number in this laugh-filled comedy.
