MORE CONSUMERS CONNECTED In his report to the Taupo Town Board's monthly meeting Mr J. M. Sherwood, Electrical Inspector, stated that a section of high t.ension line had been >run from Mere Road to the transformer structure in Henry Hill Road. Low tension linesf had been completed in Henry Hill Road, the lower half of Rokino Road, Kuirupae and Waihora Road, and in Rahui, Titiraupenga, Horomatangi, Taniwha and Huia Streets. Poles had been erected in Scannell and Rawhiti Streets and Motutaiko Road, and furtheir poles laid out in Nukuhau, Oruanui, Runanga and Paora Hape Streets, and in Waiariki Road (Spa Road) to Kaimanawa. Streset. Service lines were aiun in Taniwha, Titiraupenga and Horomatangi Streets, and to the Post Office and Police Station. A further 42 consumers had been connected, ta'nging the total up to 223,
