MR H. J. JACKSON

The death occurred on Saturday last, June 6th, of Mr H. J. Jackson, an old and highly respected Pesident of Rifie Range Road, Taupo, at the age of 85. The late Mr Jackson was born at LoweT Hutt in 1868, and for the greatef part of his life was engaged in farming in the Wairarapa district. After the death of his wife, he retired in 1936, to Taupo. The deceased is survived by a family of thi'ee, Mrs E. J. Evans, of Masterton, Mr A. J. Jackson, Pahiatua, and Mrs R. H. Pearse, Taupo. There are nine grandchildren and six greatgrand children. The internment took place on Monday last, June 8th. ^ _
