MAJESTIC THEATRE
On Friday night, June 5th, the Majestie presents the thriller melodrama "Experiment Alcatraz," starring Joan Dixon and John Howard, in which medical research into a new isotopic drug is complicated by a murder amongst convict volunteers on whorn the dnig is being tried. The other picture on the same night is "Mysterious Desperado," a Western starring Tim Holt, riding and shooting against a gang of land shaiks in Old California. "Tarzan's Peril," an exciting adventure of fiction^ famous jungle hero, starring Lex Barker and Virginia Huston, is to be shown on Saturday, June 6th at the matinee and also at 8 p.m.. The outdoor sequences of this fflm were done in ^ Africa and abound with startling thrills. The other Saturday Matinee film is the second instalment of the Brick Bradford serial, featuring a trip to the moon. For Monday, June 8th, ParamounPs "When Worlds Collide" is the main picture. This technicolor speetacle deals with the eartlTs destruction by a runaway star and the escape of surviviors by rocket-ship to another planet. On Wednesday, June 10th, Red Skelton and Sally Forest star in an hilarious comedy. "Excuse My Dust," which should provide an evening's light-hearted entertainment.
