Teachers and Taupo Sawmiils An ' exeellent job of work in aid of the Taupo District High School was done by the male members of the teaching staff during the holiday- when they turned to and eut firewood for heating the school to last for the year. This eifort will result in the saving of ahout thirty pounds to the School Committee. Much appreciated h>eld in their achieve ment came from Taupo Sawmiils Ltd., per medium of whose manager, Mr Frank Mclsaac, a small cifcutar saw and engine was made available. What is more, Mr Mclsaac saw to it that the saw was kept sharp throughout.
