FORTY-THREE NEW CONSUMERS The Town Board's Electrical Inspectoi, Mr J. M. Sherwood, reported to the monthly meeting of the Roard last week that since the previous meeting 45 new consumers had been connected, the total now being 129. High and low tension lines in Kaimanawa Street, and low tension lines in Tamamutu Street, had been completed. Poles had been erected in Pataka Street and on Lake Terrace Road from Rifle Range Road to Mere Road, and the wires were being run. In Wheretia Street poles had been fitted arid were ready for erection. So-me service lines had been run in Kaimanawa and Tamamutu Streets. A secoiid mer-eury-vapour street light had been fitted in Tongariro Street opposite Tu wharetoa Street.
