GUIDES STREET STALL

GIRLS TRAVELLING FUND The Street Stall run by the Taupo Girl Guide Company last Sat urday, in aid of the travelling fund for ihe Wellington Guide Exhibition in May, received Excellent support from the public. The girls worked hard, and despite somewhat unfavourable weather their efforts resulted in the stall being "sold out" by three-thirty, with the satisfactory amount of £36 14/- netted. The Captain and lieutenant have arrangements in hand for the Guides Eirthday Party, which will take the form of a tea for the Guides and Rrownies, followe^l by an entertainment for the Executive and members of the Local Association, parents, Boy Scout officers and four leaders, clergy of all churches, and friends who have helped with donations.*-
