BOWLING COMPETITIONS
TAUPO CLUB RESULTS Recent games in the Progressive Fours competition for the Stephenson Trading Co's Golden Cockerells resulted as follows: — Logan, Coley, . Ted. Taylor, R. McMillan 27 v. J. H. Marlow, G. Hill, Sheldon, Pennycook, 12. Mahanga, Lauri, Stanley, Rowlands 2,1 v. Mills, Bert Harnett, Fulfjames, C. McLean, 22. Wells, Peacock, Baldwin, 20 v C. Lees, East, Gordon Fraser, 10. Some interesting games in the Club Championships resulted as follows: — Juniors: East 18 v. Lauri 17; and Stanley 19 v. Fulljames 12. Seniors: R. McMillan 21 v. D. Mills 18. This last garne aroused much spectator interest, there being level pegging most of tbe way, with Mills, a comparatively new player putting up a good show against his veteran opponent.
