This fine wale brown trout was taken by D. Lawson, Hawkes Bay, on a fly, fishing from Mr Poi Warbrick's hire launch Waihaha in Whakaipo Bay. It weighed 13 lbs. and was 26½ inches in length, with a girth of 19 inches.
