TAUPO TOWN BOARD NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Taupo Town Board held on Wednesclay, February 18th, 1953, the foliowing resolution was passed, viz: — That the Taupo Town Board, pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies Act 1926 and Amendments and in pursuance of the sanction of the Local Government Loans Board giranted on the sixth day of February, 1953 i ahd in pursuance and in exercise of i all other Acts, power s and authorities enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve by way of special order as follows: — (1) That a special loan of Five thousand pounds (5000) to be known as the A.C. Baths Reconstruction Loan 1953 to be raised in New Zealand by

the Taupo Town Board for the purpose of reconstructing the A.C. Baths. (2) that the rate of interest on the said special loan or any part thereof, shall be at the rate of Four pounds (£4) per centum per annum. (3) That the term of the said special loan or any part thereof shall be twenty (20) years. (4) That the security for interest and principal and repayment of the said special loan shall be a special rate of one farthing of a penny (id') in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Taupo Town District. AND NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that a poll of Ratepayers is required to be taken on the proposal to raise the loan herein before referred to in accordaiice with Section 3 of the Local Bodies Loans Amendment Act 1951, if live per cent of the ratepayers of the district so demand, by writing under their hands delivered ctr sent by post to the Town Clerk, j Town Board Office, Wharf Road, TauJpo, before the date fixed for the confirmation of the resolution to raise the special loan. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution is to be submitted for confirmation at any ordinary meeting of the Taupo Town Board to be held in the Town Board Room, Wharf Road, Taupo the 25th March, 1953.
