Fisblic Notices TAUPO TOWN BOARD NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER NOTICE IS HEREBY -GIVEN that at & Special Meeting oi the Taupo Town Board held on Wednesday, February 18th, 1953, the loliowing resolution was passed, viz: — That the Taupo Town Board, pui - suant to the provisions of the LocaL Bodies Act 1926 and Amendments and in pursuance of the sanction of theLocal Goverpment Loans Board giranted on the sixtli day of February, 1953 and in pursuance and in exercise of all other Acts, powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve by way of special order as follows (1) That a special loan of Five thousand pounds (5000) to be known asthe A.C. Baths Reconstiuction Loan 1953 to be raised in New Zealand by the Taupo Town Board for the puirpose of reconstructing the A.C.Baths. (2) that the rate of interest on the said special loan or any part thereof, shall be at the rate of Four pounds (£4) per centum per annum,. (3) That the term of the said special loan or- any part thereof shall be twenty (20) yeatrs.

(4) That the security for interest and principal and repayment of the said special loan shall be a special rate of one farthing of a penny (Id) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Taupo Town District. AND NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that a poll of Ratepayeirs is required to be taken on the proposal to raise the loan herein before referred to in accordance with Section 3 of the Local Bodies Loans Amendment Act 1951, if five per cent of the ratepayers of the district so demand, by writing under their hands delivered oir sent by post to the Town Clerk, Town Board Office, Whaif Itoad, Taupo, before the date fixed for the oonfirmation of the resolution to raise the special loan. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution is to be submitted for confirmation at any ordinary meeting of the Taupo Town Board to be held in the Town Board Room, Wharf Road, Taupo the 25th Mairch, 1953. TAUPO TOWN BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE of Froposed Appli-. cation for Sanction of Loan. Notice is hereby given that the Taupo Town Board proposes at an Ordinary meeting to be held on the 25th day of March, 1953, to consider a motion to apply to the local Government Loans Board for its sanction to 'the borrowing of a futrther additional sum of £37,500 for the purpose of completing the Taupo Town Board Hydro-Eleetric Power Supply Scheme. The Security for sueh loan shall be a special rate of one farthing (id) oi a penny in the pound (£) on the Unimproved Value of all hateable property in the Taupo Town Distirict. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Town Clerk, Taupo Town Board, not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
