FEATURES FOR THE WEEK Features for the week at the Majestic Theatre in Taupo include, as from tonight, Wednesday, January 7th., the celebrated screen success, "Private Angelo,, adapted from Eric Linklater's well-known story of the war in Italy. The stars of the production are Godfrey Tearle, Maria Denis and Peter Ustinov. Thursday, January 8th., brings to the screen "The Happiest Days of Your Life," stariing Alastair Sim and Margaret Rutherford in a sparkling mirth-provoking comedy — a British film. The bill for Friday is a doubiefeature, with plenty of thrills. Tim Holt is the leading man in "Gun Smugglers," with Richard Martin and Martha Hyer. "This Side of the Law/' a Warner Bros. mystery drama with James Paye as the star. Maureen O'Hara and Jeff Chandler are the star attraetions in the technicolour desert romance "Flame of A.raby," a Universal film production, scheduled for presentation on Saturday. • For Monday, January 12th. is scheduled "The Man in Grey," with James Mason and Margaret Lock'wood as the stars in a British A. J. Rank production. Tuesday's presentatiSn is a comedy with the Foreign Legion as the setting, and Bud Abbott and Lou Costello as the fun-makers. On. Wednesday, January 14th. will be screened the United Artists release "Champagne for Caesar," with Ronald Colman starred as a bookloving bachelor who knows all the answers — but one. This is described , as first-class comedy.
