AWARDS FOR BRAVERY

BRONZE MEDAL TO GALFREY LIVESAY As reported in the daily Press on | Friday last, several awards for bravery were anounced by the directors of the Royal Humane Society of New Zealand after a meeting in Christcnurch. Amongst them was the award of the Society ?s bronze medal to Galfrey Livesay, aged 10, of Taupo, in recognition of the part he played in rescuing a seven-year-old boy from drowning at Taupo. Mr James S. Riddell was awarded a let--ter of commendation for his part in the rescue.
