CARNIVAL GIFTS ROLLING IN Women's j5nsftitute. — Rummage Sale on Thursday, December 11th., at Rickit's Hall commencing at 9.3G a.m. All residents have been cir culated asking them for goods. If a vehicle is wanted to pick these up and have not already asked for same, please telephone 333 Taupo before 5 p.m., Wednesday, December 10th. Brcadcast. — The Organiser will be speaking over the air from Station 1YZ Rotorua on Tuesday, December 16th., at 7.15 p.m. in a session called 4The Bay of Plenty Crier," Anyone hearing this broadcast is asked to drop a note to The Organiser, Box 3, Taupo quoting the last three words in his broadcast. The writer oi the first note opened quoting these words wili receive a prize of £ 1 . - Girls Marching Teams, and Parade of Decorated Trucks, Cars, etc. — Please note that the times that these events take place on January 2nd. have been altered from those printed on the poster to the following: — 10.30 a.m., Procession of decorated trucks, cars, etc. ' 1.30 p.m., Parade of Marching Girls teams. ■ General Committee Meeting. — At a meeting of the full Committee on December lst. about 30 were present and a full programme for the Carnival was explained. A large number of those present gave in their names as helpers during the Carnival, but more helpers are still reouired. ^ / Father Christmas. — If any resideht dent of Taupo has a Father Christmas costume which they would be prepared to^ lend to the R.S.A. for Thursday,i December 23rd., would you please advise the Organiser. To give the younger children an opportunity of seeing the entertainment, the frocking for which is now practically completed, a matinee show will be staged at 3.30 p.m. the same day.
