MAJESTIC THEATRE
THREE GOOD FEATURES Listed on this week's offering at the Majestic Theatre, Taupo, are three good features. The first, to be screened tonight (Wednesday), is the film adaptation of Michael Pertwee's story "The Interrupted Journey,,, with Valerie Hobson, Richard Todd, Cbristine Norden> and Tom Walls in the stellar roles. An elopement, train smash, murder, and detection, are the elements of an ab•sorbing and exciting play. Friday^ feature is another film adaptation — this time from A. E. W. Mason^ celebrated story "The Sabu, Raymond Massey, Valerie Hobson, and Roger Livesay have the princijpal roles. This is an Alexander Korda production in technicolour, from the London Film Studio's. A gripping screen drama, this. High and low comedy, with a Western iSetting, provide great entertainment in the Paramount production, "Fancy Plants," starring Bob Hope and Lucille Ball, Saturday's big attraction at the Majestic Theatre. The irresistable Bob indulges in a riot of "whoopee" that demonstrates his amazing virility. The story opens in England then is switched over to the wild and Woolly West, and might from its development, have easily been called the "Hoodwinkers,, — as the whole pi oduction is one long leg-pull.
