ADDITIONS AND ROAD ( IM PRO VEMENTS The Cabinet hacl authorised expenditure for the completion of the additions and improvements to the Taupo landing reserve which would he of decided advaritage to anglers and other visitors to Taupo, said the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr Bodkin, in a statement to the Press Associaton. The work to he done included the ronstruction of a stone wall, the widening and extension of the roadway, together with a 12ft. turning eircle and access to the ding'hy wharf, said Mr Bodkin. There were to be three jetties constructed, and part of the cost would be borne by the Taupo Town Board.
