BOY SCOUTS BOTTLE COLLECTING

During the past two weeks the Taupo Boy Scout Troop has been busy collecting bottles, with the help of Mr C. Thomas (Chairman of the Assn.), and Assistant-Scoutmaster Beale, and made an excellent beginning by realising £22. The first investiture of the Boy Scouts took plaee on Tuesday evening, when - about 18 Iboys attained their tenderfoot badges. The troop is making rapid progress.
