PUBLIC WORKS DEPOT IN TAUPO
We have received from ihe Member for the district (Mr P. Kearins), a copy of a letter received by him from the Minister of Works (Hon. W. S. Goosman), which states: "I refer to your personal representations in support of a letter addressed to you by the Town Clerk, Taupo Town Board, seeking an assurance that no major buildings will be erected on the site at present used as a Public Work depot in Taupo, and that as it is stated that other suitable land is available the depot should be removed from the present site. • • "I also note the representations made by the Town Board that the Lake Front main highway should be reformed. "I am having both these matters errquired into and will write yo ni again as early as possible. j
