A WEEK OF THRILLERS Forthcoming features listed for screening* at the Majestic Theatre promise a week of thrillers. Tonight (Wednesday), for example, there is "Killer Shark" — the very name is a thrill to start with— with Roddy McDowall, Laurelle Luez, and RolancS Winter s in the Stellar roles and Rch manee and tragedy are woven into a setting in which shark hunting provides the back-groundi Friday's double feature programme presents "D.O.A.", which letters stand for "Dead on Arrival."' This is a story of police methods in California (U.S.A.), with Edmond O'Brien and Pamela Britton as the stars. Plenty of thrills herq. The second feature is Rustlers,,> witfe Tim Holt, Richard Martin, and Martha Hyer prominent in the cast. "RustJers,, of course, suggests the wide open spaces, cat+le thievingv and round-ups in a typical American Western ^Setting. For Saturday there is scheduled a thrilling racing picture in which the famous horse Sea-Biscuih— ' "The Pride of Kentucky" — is a prominent feature. The film is in technicolour, and the star roles are taken by Shirley Temple and Barry Fitzgerald. "The Pride of Kentucky" will also be shown at Te Rangi-ita on Thursday, October 2nd.
