BOY SCOUTS' GOOD DEED

Strangers to Taupo may not know that there is a capable troop of- Boy Scouts, ^evidently "ppepared," on short notice, to do a good turn, as their honoured founder Lord Baden Powell intended. A band of six, under Patrol leader Keith Skeen, reported for duty after school on September 10th., and carrjed out an hours tedious and exacting- work in a very competent manner. As well as commenting on the speedy and neat job, the lady benefited wis'hed to record her appreciation of the Scouts" good manners and behavioiu .
