A sequel to reports of unoceupied cottages at FourdMile Bayr being brok •en into was the arrest and subsequent apearance in the Taupo Police iCourfc last week of Ronald Dixon, aged 27, single. He had been an inmate of Hautu Prison Camp, ancl was out on license. One of the cotfcages was owned by Mr Gibb and ihe other by Mr Fleming. Evidence was given by Constable E. H. Rowlands, and Mr Fred Sherning. i " | r The accused pleaded guilty to two charges of breaking and entering, and was committed to the Supreme Court a,t Auckland for sentence. Messrs W. H. Kent and A. H, Reid, justices, were on the foeneh.
