AXXUAL GENERAL iVlEETING As advertised in this issue, the annual general meeting of the Taupo Bowling Club is to be held at Ricki.tt's Hall on Wednesday, September 3rd.. at 7.30 p.m. A cordial invitation is extended to members and prospective members. Under the Club rules provision has been made for lady members. These will be welcomed, even as non-play-ing members, for they can be taught, and instructors will be numerous and willing*. The green has weather ed the winter very wrell, and wiih a few working bees should be in first-class order for opening day. The club house is nearing complefcion A full-size billiards table is beii^g installed, card tables will be pro/ided, also a smaii kitchen, and luckers for members. The green as if srands now, with club house and tool shed, is free of debt, which shows what can be done by a small band of workers. These have done the hard pioneering work, and they feel that it is up to new members to swell the ranks and do their bit so that the greens and surroundings will be in perfect order for the rfew season.
