TAUPO GOLF CLUB
On August 10 another round of the President's Trophy was played and the following were the best scores banded in: — H. Hullten, 89, 18-71; O. Wright, 94, 22-72; E. Smith, 82, 9-73; P. Brown, 85, 1273; A. George, 97, 27-73. The ladies played some Winter Cup matches on the Sunday with the following results: — Mrs Douglas beat Mrs Young, 5 and 4; Mrs Hullten beat Mrs Vedder, 3 and 1; r Mrs Douglas beat Mrs Orr, 1 up. On August 14th., the Ladies played a Medal round — the best scores were: — Mrs Hullten, 89, 12-77; Miss Brown, 86, 9-77; ' Mrs Bush, 111, 34-77; Mrs Young, 104, 21-83; Mrs Douglas, 106, 19-87. On Sunday, August 24th. the Qualifying Round of the Championships will be played at 1.30 p.m.
