The Hon. W. A. Bodkin, Minister of Internal Affairs, says that TAUPO MAY WELL BECOME THE PLAYGROUND OF THE PACIFIC. So we can confidently expect sorne investment in the locality toward the development of Taupo's undoubted Tourist attractions. This development is iong overdue; but furthermore if the Works Department can develop 20,000 K.W. from the shallow bores on which they are working there is every prospect of terrific power output when the new drills go into operation.
