Ck'gamser's News And Notes As reported elsewhere a Girls' Marching Team was discussed at a meeting held at Rickit's Hall on Wednesday, August 6th., and an organisation was f ormed to be known as The Taupo Girl's Marching Team. Itr- is hoped that the Marching Team wi.ll be sponsored by the Gymkhana Club. A'riy girls who desire to join the team are asked to apply to the Seeretary of the Taupo Girls' Marching Team, Miss B. Anchor. Bramatic Society, Orchestra & Entertainment Gompany. Up to the time of going to press several applications to join the 'Dramatic Society have been received; but as yet there have been no applications for the Orchestra and Entertainment Company. JJu has been. fcuggested that the Dramatie Society fs first production should be Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit." Horticultural Society. ! .. At the first Committee Meeting of the Horticultural and Beautifying Society for the year 1052/53 it was unanimously agreed that after the Society^ Spring Show to be held •oi the 18th. September, the flowers not taken away by the Cbmpetitors should be auctioned for benefit i to the War Memorial Hall Funds. Working Bee.
