A wireless set and a battery as well as clothing and other items, were missing and prison garb had been left behind. The garb has been identified as belonging to an habituai criminal who escaped ahout a month ago from Rangipo prison cahip, and he is also suspected as being responsible for the disappearance of a car recently stolen from Rotorua.
