This gave further indication that it is feasible. * * * Fritz Kreisler, world-famed violinist and composer, has presented a rare Italian violin to the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. It will be used in the Library's annual concert series. The Australian-born violinist, now an American citizen, purchased the violin from a British firm in 1926. It was made in 1733 by Guisepne Guarneri del Gesu in Cremona, Italy,, and is corisidered an outstanding example of this work.
