This photograph taken at Taupo by Mr T. B. Ambrose, of Hamilton, early in 1951, has been shown in Photographic Exhibitions in many parts of the world. It was first exhibited at the XVIth Iris International Salon of Photography at Antwerp, and received an Honours Award at the Woolongong (N.S.W.) International Salon of Photography. It has also been shown at Salons at Mysore, Havana, Valparaiso and Santiago, whilst it has received complimentary hangings at Kodak Galleries at both Sydney and Melbourne. The scene is typical of the Lake Front on an Autumn Day.
