PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE KAINGAROA RURAL FIRE DISTRICT

The Kaingaroa Rural Fire District was constituted under the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1947, by Order in Council dated 30th June 1948, and published in New Zealand Gazette 1948, page 815. It. is proposed to include in the district an area containing approximately 4,700 acres situated in Bloeks VI, X, XIII and IXV, Tauhara Survey District and Blcck I, Waitahanui Survey District, bounded on the east and south by the National Park-State Highway and on the west by the shores of Lake Taupo. A plan of the district showing the area to be included and fuli details of the proposal are deposited in the Taupo P'ost Office for free inspection during office hours. Any person having well grounded objections to the inclusion of this area in the Kaingaroa Rural Fire District should submit his objections in writing to the Minister of Forests, Wellington, by 14th August 1952.
